KRP for water rescue

A rescue jet ski has one job: to be ready the moment someone is in trouble. KRP equips and supports rescue teams on both sides of the Atlantic, from the Basque coast to the Baltic Sea and the Pacific coast of California.

Teams we work with

KRP supplier

SDIS 64 – Pyrénées-Atlantiques

France

KRP is a supplier to SDIS 64, the fire and rescue service of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department. Its water rescue crews work on the same Atlantic coast where KRP parts are designed and tested, a few kilometres from the Lay Dynamics R&D centre in Urrugne.

Supported by KRP

WOPR

Poland

KRP supports WOPR (Wodne Ochotnicze Pogotowie Ratunkowe), the Polish volunteer water rescue service that guards beaches, lakes and the Baltic coast. Lay Dynamics runs its European logistics centre in Szczecin, Poland.

Supported by KRP

California State Parks Lifeguards

California, USA

KRP supports the lifeguards of California State Parks, who protect visitors on state beaches along the Pacific coast and use rescue watercraft in the surf.

What rescue crews need from their equipment

KRP KAKO Cutter

Clear the impeller in minutes

Ropes, nets and plastic bags can stop a jet ski in the middle of a mission. The KAKO Cutter folds into the glove box and frees the impeller tunnel quickly. Always work on the intake with the engine off and the craft out of the water.

KRP Thru-Hull Set for Kawasaki ULTRA

Hardware that survives salt water

Stainless steel manifold, crossmember and 316 thru-hulls replace OEM parts that corrode. The thru-hulls carry a 50-year warranty.

KRP Fuel Pump 120 STX Touring

Fuel delivery you can count on

KRP fuel pumps give steady, consistent fuel supply. A dealer who maintains fleets reports that installation takes around thirty minutes, so machines are back in service fast.

Peyo Camiade

A sea rescuer’s view

Peyo Camiade runs water safety for surf contests and ocean rowing races on the Basque coast. Competitors’ lives depend on him and his equipment, so his jet ski must be available at all times. The KAKO Cutter is part of his rescue kit: if anything blocks the turbine, he knows he can clear it within five minutes and continue the mission.
